Have you sent an important email to client for regular payments or your new services and want to follow up on. But after few days you realized that you forgot to follow that. Gmail and many other email services provider gives facility to assign Star and Labels for received mails. But what about sent mail?
Here is a good news at least for Gmail users, now you can add “Labels” and “Star” to your sent mails. Adding Star or Label or both highlights them from cloud of your sent emails. Now its been more easier to track important emails to family members, clients or business proposals.
How to Add Labels or Star:
You can add Labels and Stars while composing new mail or after sending them. The whole process is very easy.
- Login to your Gmail account and click on “Compose” button to compose new mail.
- While editing you can assign labels or star it by using the labels drop-down menu as seen in image below. Select one from your pre-created labels or create new one and click apply. That’s it.
You can use any labels you like for the mail. As you’d expect, recipients of messages organized this way won’t see your labels or stars. So assign a label or star a conversation.
