Google is well known for its awesomeness in web search, online products and web services. Every year on April Fool’s day i.e. on April 1st Google surprises world with its April Fool Pranks. These pranks were made with a very hard work in the sense of web appearance, presentation and videos. By not taking more time, here is a collection of this years Google April Fool pranks.
26 key QWERTY keyboard on 2-inches smartphone screen is hard to fit. Now Gmail Tap for Android and iOS replaces 26 QWERTY keyboard keys by just two. This new technology uses Morse code communication method. Every letter of the alphabet is represented by a simple pattern of dots and dashes, and once you know them you can type without even looking at your screen. This makes it ideal for situations where you need to discreetly send emails, such as when you’re on a date or in a meeting with your boss. With Gmail Tap you can also type and send two mails at a same time.
Google 8-bit Maps:
In this prank Google’s Map has been launched for Nintendo Entertainment System in 8-bit. Google Maps 8-bit version is a full functional Google Maps system. According to official post on Google Maps blog “ Search for famous landmarks and sites around the world. Take an epic journey with 8-bit Street View. Get detailed directions to avoid dangerous paths, and battle your way through a world of powerful monsters and mystic treasures.”

So much web, so little time. Multitask Mode allows you to browse the web with more than one mouse, so you can see more, do more, and wait less. Unleash your bilateral potential. Chrome Multitask Mode lets you browse the web with multiple cursors at the same time, so you can get more done, faster. Chrome will more social as Multitask Mode lets you use as many mice as you can plug into your computer, so you and your friends can navigate dozens of sites, at the same time, on the same device. All hands on deck.
If you go to the Chrome Multi-task page and click on “Try Multitask Mode” you can see your mouse pointer multiplies and navigates in different directions when you move your mouse. Its pretty awesome.
Google Street Roo:
This is the revolution of Street View feature in Google Maps. According to a blog post on Australian Google blog page “Over the next four weeks, more than a thousand Big Red kangaroos will be equipped with a 360-degree head camera that will automatically capture images when the marsupial is on the move during daylight hours.” The deployment of the ‘roo force’ will begin today and we believe 98% of the Australian outback will be captured on Google Maps within three years.
Google Self-Driving Car and NASCAR (Google Racing):
It’s a old news that Google is working on a self-driving car. Google announces news updates about the progress of this project. On late March Google partnerships with NASCAR and on April 1st they released a prank. And today we’re moving the project one great leap forward with Google Racing, a groundbreaking partnership with NASCAR to help self-driving vehicles compete in the world of stock car racing.”
In March Google announced that it is working on spreading super hi-speed Fiber Network cables in Kansas City. These lines will be capable of providing 100 times faster speed than what most Americans have today. But on April 1st it introduces another Fiber product; Google Fiberlicious. This bar is made from “just the right synthesis” of “psyllium and vitamins C and D. Google delivers best results for your query but if you want to refine your search you can try Advance search option. This is a true and working feature of Google Search. But on April Fools day Google adds some more funny features into this. This more Advanced Search bringing options like “rhyming slang for” and the “this exact word or phrase, whose sum of Unicode code points is a mersenne prime.” How we lived without the latter for this long I have no idea. Really Advanced Search even lets you filter by “embarrassing grammatical faux pas” and font.
Click-to-teleport Chrome Extension:
This new Chrome extension can allows potential customers to instantly teleport to a business location directly from a search ad. Forget CTRs, conversion tracking and call metrics – one click and a customer is instantly standing in your business location and ready to shop. So funny, isn’t it.
