Google bus: a source of knowledge, to teach people How to browse the net, search, e-mail, social networking, browse maps or track stock market trends in a custom-built Internet bus roaring in 15 cities of Karnataka according to leading daily Hindu.
This 50 days tour is a succesor of the previous 2 months tour of Tamil Nadu which was foing on from december last year.
According to Google India research and development (R&D) head Prasad Ram “The Internet bus project is an attempt to educate the people, especially the younger generation about the worldwide web and how Internet serves as a platform to step into the digital world for information, communication, entertainment and education,”
This bus is equipped with a LCD screen and online capabilities to teach people through video driven content.
