Unknown Google Search Feature

Google is an ocean of knowledge because this is the place where you search everything you want to know about and in most of the case you get your desired result. But there are lots of things you don’t know about Google which can be very helpful if we need some immediate results.

Google provide some unique search feature which acts like answer of your question.

1) Weather: If you want to know about weather schedule of your city,just type weather followed by name of your city.

2) Time:If you want to see the current time of the city you,just type time followed by name of city.

3)Converter : Google search box acts as a converter also. You can use Google to convert between many different units of measurement of height, weight, and volume among many others. Just enter your desired conversion into the search box and find desired result:

4) Dictionary:

To see a definition for a word or phrase, simply type the word “define” then a space, then the word(s) you want defined. To see a list of different definitions from various online sources, you can type “define:” followed by a word or phrase. Note that the results will define the entire phrase.

5) Currency converter : This is an extension of calculator feature, you can convert currency of one country to other by just entering the name of desired currency.

6)Airline travel info:

You can see flight status for arriving and departing of all U.S. flights, type in the name of the airline and the flight number into the search box. You can also see delays at a specific airport by typing in the name of the city or three-letter airport code followed by the word “airport”. This feature is currently not available in India.

7)Calculator: Google search box is a perfect calculator, just enter the calculation to be performed and get the result immediately.

Map: If you want to see the map of any city ,just type the name of city followed by map and you will get the map of the city.

9) Sport Schedule: To see scores and schedules for sports teams type the team name or league name into the search box. This is enabled for many leagues including the National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League, and Major League Baseball.

10)Movie timings: For movie timing just type “movies” in the search box. Then after type the name of your city and click on the “Remember this location” option. Then click on “Get showtime Button”. You will get the schedule of every movies of your city.

11)Population: If you want to know about the population info of your country, then just type the population followed by name of your country country.

12) Live Cricket Scores: For live IPL Score type Team name I Vs Team name II.
