How to Create a Torrent File and Seed it?

We often used the torrent file to download movie, music and films from the internet, these files are generally bulky , and we download it very easily with torrent clients. but if you want to send or share something to more than one person, or if you want to share high quality HDTV files, then you can share it by creating its torrent.

So how we can do this?

There are two different ways to make a .torrent file.

One way is to use your BitTorrent client, and the other is to use a program like Make Torrent 2, which is a program dedicated to making torrents.

Making torrent file using bit torrent client, Well it’s very simple. Open your favorite BitTorrent client and do the magic trick:

file > create torrent

torrent1

that’s all (almost),

The next step is selecting a tracker.

A tracker is something that keeps track of everything involved with torrent – who has what files, how much has each computer downloaded/uploaded, that sort of thing. It also keeps a record of exactly how much each person has uploaded and downloaded.

But before doing this Make a folder, and call it something similar to what you’re sharing so you can know by looking at it what’s in it. Then, make a folder inside that folder, and name it something extremely similar to what you’re sharing –  name the folder. This folders name will be the name of the .torrent, which is why it’s so important. Put the files you want to share – like your game – into this folder.

Bellow are the steps for some bittorrent clients

Azureus

2. Tick “use an external tracker”.
And again, This is probably the hard part for most people. But it’s pretty easy, just put in one of the popular public trackers.

Here are some of the most popular trackers at the moment:

http://tracker.prq.to/announce
http://inferno.demonoid.com:3389/announce
http://tracker.bt-chat.com/announce
http://tracker.zerotracker.com:2710/announce
Put one of these in the tracker box

5. Do tick “allow decentralized tracking”

6. Save the torrent and send it to your friends
