Installing wordpress: Tute for beginners step by step

Many of my friends just started blogging they started on blogspot.com or wordpress.com (free blogs) but as they find  more interesting this blogosphere they come to royal style of bloging which is  bloging on self hosted wordpress blog. Now  the problem is that the experience of blogging at blogspot or wordpress.com blogs does not give any knowledge of backend or how to install manage and so i am starting a step by step guide  for the beginner who just start working on their own domains and hosting.

now how to install it online using cpanel

1. open your control panel by http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel

2.this will ask your admin id and password

3.now just goto fantastico de luxe this is a software/service that will install wordpress for you, open it

4.now under the navigation tab click on wordpress : this will show the overview of your installation if you haven’t install any thing it will show nothing

5.here click on the new installation

6. it will ask for some details fill them like username and wordpress ( the most important thing here is Install in directory)

Leave empty to install in the root directory of the domain (access example: http://domain/).
Enter only the directory name to install in a directory (for http://domain/name/ enter name only). This directory SHOULD NOT exist, it will be automatically created!

7. after filling up all the details click on install wordpress

8 in next step it wil show you all the details and directory where wordpress is just installed

9.in next step it will ask for email where your installation details will be sent

Now you have installed wordpress successfully.

you can access it on http://www.yourdomainname.com/wp-admin
