Yahoo going Mobile: Launching its new mobile website

Every player in the internet market trying a new way around to escape via this global economic slowdown so yahoo too.Yahoo just announced that it will soon be launching a new mobile service which it describes as a highly-personalized mobile starting point to the Internet.  To be available as a native application for the iPhone, as well as other smartphones  of  Nokia, RIM, Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, and other Windows Mobile powered handsets, the new Yahoo Mobile Service is currently on a closed beta mode. Curently if you will go thorough the web via your phone YOU will get the beta site for registration.

Anyway, to give us an idea of what to expect from the new Yahoo Mobile Service, here’s what Yahoo has to say about the features of the new mobile website and iPhone application:
